Propeller
The weedless propeller was designed to be utilized in applications
where solids and other stringy material (Hair algae, weeds,
vegetation, etc...) may be encountered in a lake or pond. The
non-fouling design eliminates material build-up on the propeller,
mitigating equipment failure.

Significant Difference between a
fountain and an aerator!
Over the past eight years we uncovered a significant flaw. Most lake and pond fountains are designed with a pump, and quite often many companies use a basic sump pump. Many of these are the same less expensive pumps that can be purchased from your local hardware store. They were originally intended to pump out basements or commercial buildings, not to be used in fountains. Sump pumps simply cannot pump the volume of water necessary to create a lake or pond decorative display aerator. These pumps were not designed to move high volumes of water. They are intended to pump with substantial water pressure so they can pump water far distances through long hoses effectively. Unlike lake fountains, decorative display lake aerators need to move high volumes of water in order to do a few things: • Effectively aerate the pond or lake by moving as much water as possible while refreshing stagnant water. (Destratification) • Impress the landscape or waterscape not only with its visual appearance but also with the tranquil sound of a mountain stream nearby. • Do all of this in a very efficient manner. We understand this problem and does not buy pumps of any kind to be used in our fountains. In fact we use heavy duty all stainless steel motors that rotate a high quality propeller that is also made entirely of stainless steel. It works very similar to how a boat propeller works. Water never enters the motor and the propeller literally throws an extraordinarily high volume of the water into the air. Therefore there is no pump to clog nor is there any small pipe outlets to obstruct.While most 1 hp fountains can only "pump" 3,000 to 8,000 gallons per hour, our 1 horsepower decorative display aerator can "THROW" an astounding 30,000 gallons per hour into the air. AND while the other company's 2 hp fountains can only "pump" a mere 5,000 to 10,000 gallons per hour, a 2 horse power decorative display lake aerator can "THROW" an astounding 34,000 gallons per hour into the air. WOW! That's a lot of water! |

Optional Lighting Kits:
We offer white or color changing LED Lights. These lights have 144 LED's and are 24 volts and are much more brilliant than halogen. LED lights are very energy efficient. We have 3 different lighting kits to maximize the appearance of your “Titanium Series” display aerator. All kits come standard with 100 feet of power cord, timer, and LED bulbs. Note: We make it very easy and inexpensive to change the bulbs.
2-LED Light Kit

Deep Water Bottom Draw Tubes:
During hot summer months when aeration and destratification is a priority, we have designed a deep water bottom draw tube which will pull cold water from the bottom, thus destratifying your pond or lake efficiently. And during the cold winter months when deicing is a priority, this tube will pull warm water from the bottom, thus deicing the area surrounding the water display. The Deep Water Bottom Draw Tube can be easily attached to any of our “Titanium Series” display aerators. We only need to know the depth you wish to draw the water from. You will be very pleased with the results! $250.00 per 10 feet.
Automatic Chemical Treatment System (ACTS):
We understand the application difficulties, safety concerns, and high costs associated to the chemical treatment process for your pond or lake. We have designed a state of the art Automatic Chemical Treatment System (ACTS) which easily attaches to our “Titanium Series” display aerators. You simply add your chemical and this device "ACTS" for you! Set the timer, and it takes care of the rest. With the aid of your high volume display aerator, this device actually treats your pond or lake for you. It will be on time every time! Pond and Lake Aeration
As we come closer to the warmer months, it is very important to
prepare
for your water management battle. There are many problems such as
algae,
mosquitoes, odors, excessive weed growth, and poor water clarity
which adversely affect
the overall aquaculture and appearance of your lake or pond without
proper pond aeration.
During the late spring and summer season, warm surface water traps denser, colder water on the bottom of the pond. This is known as stratification. Pollutants such as leaves, clippings and fertilizer sink to the bottom and decay, stripping the water of dissolved oxygen. Anaerobic bacteria, which require no oxygen, can thrive in this environment. These bacteria can cause poisonous gases such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and methane to be released. As these gases rise through the water, any remaining oxygen is absorbed causing unpleasant odors and rapid algae growth. This is a leading cause of most fish kills.
The Display Aeration"Titanium Series" display aerators take the
deeper, colder
water from 30" to desired depth (note: desired depth can be achieved
with our Bottom Draw Tube) below the surface and forces it into the
air through a beautiful display pattern which enables
the droplets to capture atmospheric oxygen. This process is called
de-stratification or pond
aeration. The oxygen is then released back into the water as the
droplets
strike the surface. The aerated cooler water is layered on top of
the
existing warmer layer, breaking down and eliminating the idle
stratification
of oxygen-starved water. De-stratification aides the natural process
of
biodegrading algae resulting in cleaner, clearer water. The
"Titanium Series"
line of decorative aerators effectively reaches the source of the
problem and solves it naturally and
beautifully. There are many different horsepower sizes and
decorative aerator patterns that should be
used for specific size ponds.
Display Aeration Systems uses a propeller vs. a pump to move the
water. This enables the
"Titanium Series" display aerators to move massive amounts of water
while not clogging. It literally mulches any vegetation that
enters our assembly.
Depending on the size of the pond and the horsepower of the
"Titanium
Series" display aerator you can expect to aerate the whole pond
water

Lake and Pond Aerator Fountains for Algae Control
Almost all natural ponds and lakes, with or without
aeration, will go through a series of stages with the changing seasons
of the year. If you have had a pond or lake for a number of years you
may be familiar with some of the processes that take place during the
year and if your pond or lake has become stagnant or smelly you likely
have read about how aeration can help the health of your pond.
In the spring in most Northern ponds or lakes, as ice and snow begins to
melt from the surface of the pond or lake due to the temperature rising
with the longer hours of sunshine, several distinct processes start in
your pond that may lead to the degradation of the water quality in the
pond or lake. Many natural and man-made ponds when not properly
aerated will see water stagnate and the water temperature tends to
remain at a very uniform level; warm near the surface and cold yet
oxygen starved at the bottom.
When adding the circulating benefits of a floating pond aerator we can
reverse many negative changes that occur in a pond or lake including
build-up of algae and bottom muck. A surface floating lake aerator can
be helpful in that it will not break the thermo cline and using a
surface floating lake aerator will ensure that delicate fish will not
become over-heated. Using a thermostat controller on your bottom mounted
aerator also reduces the risk of fish-kills.
As the spring runoff starts to deposit plant nutrients and organic
sediments from the shoreline, many un-wanted byproducts of agriculture
and human over-population can cause an imbalance in the eco-system and
these nutrients which settle in ponds and lakes and can lead to
filamentous algae or green water and other common pond and lake
problems.
Without adequate aeration in the pond or lake these sediments will
collect on the bottom of the pond or lake and begin decomposing and
chemically altering the composition of the pond or lake sediments which
can, under the proper seasonal conditions, lead to algae blooms that can
disturb the peace and natural balance of the pond or lake. If left
alone, over time, with the oncoming warmth of summer you will quite
possibly see these additional nutrients begin to encourage a rapid
growth of algae, bottom muck, and often cloudy green pond water.
Aerating the lake or pond with a decorative display aerator will retard
this growth.
